I took this one just before climbing Stoodley Pike in Todmorden a few weeks ago. It's the top section of Lee Dam, just opposite the chapel at Lumbutts. I'd been hoping to get a photo of the line of trees in the background, with reflections in the water. The sky was quite bright and cloudless though, making that picture a bit dull (one for another day), so I went for a different view with a colourful foreground instead.
Camera/lens settings: ISO 100, f/14, 1/60s, 18mm, hand held.
I select my favourite images from my walks and travels (photographed with my Nikon D3200) and post them here. I also add any notes of interest about the making of each image (either at the time or afterwards on the computer). I hope you enjoy looking at my photos and would love to see your comments. If you like a photo, please also share it via your social media using the buttons below each picture...thank you!
