One from a lovely, bright summer's day in June last year. I had walked up the opposite side of the valley to Lumb Hole waterfalls and was returning to Midgehole car park at Hardcastle Crags when I took this photo. On the far horizon you can see the ridge and monument of Stoodley Pike at Todmorden; in front of it and to the left is the tower of the church at Heptonstall.
Camera/lens settings: ISO 100, f/11, 1/160s, 32mm, hand held.
I select my favourite images from my walks and travels (photographed with my Nikon D3200) and post them here. I also add any notes of interest about the making of each image (either at the time or afterwards on the computer). I hope you enjoy looking at my photos and would love to see your comments. If you like a photo, please also share it via your social media using the buttons below each picture...thank you!
