This is a photo from May 2013, from my first trip to Hardcastle Crags with my new DSLR camera. I've nearly deleted it many times but something always stopped me. This time I didn't pass over it when looking for a picture to use and instead decided to try some different crops and colour adjustments. Making it monochrome, adjusting the grey hues and cropping out some messy background really made the difference - I'm glad I kept it now.
Camera/lens settings: ISO 100, f/4, 1/80s, 20mm, hand held.
I select my favourite images from my walks and travels (photographed with my Nikon D3200) and post them here. I also add any notes of interest about the making of each image (either at the time or afterwards on the computer). I hope you enjoy looking at my photos and would love to see your comments. If you like a photo, please also share it via your social media using the buttons below each picture...thank you!
