Tree and broken bough on steep valley side

This tree is growing on the slope of the valley side above Ogden Water, Halifax, where the stream flows down to join the reservoir. It's a very steep slope - perhaps not my cleverest move to decide to climb down it to photograph the tree, but it was too tempting to get the best angle!
