This barn is alongside the river that runs down through Malham below Janet's Foss. I took the photo in August this year because I liked the contrasts in shapes, colours and textures between the stone of the barn, the trees, grass and rusty plough (I think it's a plough!).
I didn't have time to get my settings right in camera, so had to make quite a few changes in Lightroom: slight reduction to exposure; increase in contrast; slight increases to vibrance and saturation; crop to improve composition.
I select my favourite images from my walks and travels (photographed with my Nikon D3200) and post them here. I also add any notes of interest about the making of each image (either at the time or afterwards on the computer). I hope you enjoy looking at my photos and would love to see your comments.
