I took this today on a 4 hour wander round Hardcastle Crags with the kids. The weather was gorgeous - chilly, blue skies and sun breaking through the remaining leaves and branches. Needless to say, I took LOADS of photos! This one was my first - we hadn't even left the car park when I looked up and saw this tree and its beautiful colours, with a backdrop of blue sky.
The only post production change I made was a slight crop to remove a dark shadow at the bottom of the frame.
I select my favourite images from my walks and travels (photographed with my Nikon D3200) and post them here. I also add any notes of interest about the making of each image (either at the time or afterwards on the computer). I hope you enjoy looking at my photos and would love to see your comments. If you like a photo, please also share it via your social media using the buttons below each picture...thank you!
