I took this picture in August 2013 on a day-trip to Holy Island. It's taken from the harbour area, looking back across to the southern mainland. I liked the many different layers of light and texture in the sea, beaches, land and sky.
In Lightroom, I increased contrast and exposure overall, but reduced exposure in the sky to bring down the overexposed brighter layer of clouds.
I select my favourite images from my walks and travels (photographed with my Nikon D3200) and post them here. I also add any notes of interest about the making of each image (either at the time or afterwards on the computer). I hope you enjoy looking at my photos and would love to see your comments.
